DHARAMSHALA: Mr Lobsang Choejor, Tibetan Parliamentarian and member of Standing Committee of the Tibetan Parliament, attended the 12th founding anniversary of Tong-Len School on Saturday, 19 November.

Tong-Len School based in Sarha near Dharamshala is a charitable organisation which supports internally-displaced communities living in the Kangra valley through a range of education and health projects.

The anniversary function included Hindi dance performances by the students and presentation of paintings made by the students.

The function concluded with an address by the Director of the Tong-Len school. He described the contexts under which the organisation began and its developments though support from various sponsors. The school currently looks after 160 displaced Indian children from Kangra.
