Dharamshala: After the success of the “Cultural Immersion Summer Course” in 2023 and 2024, the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) announces a new training programme aimed at helping young Tibetans, particularly those living abroad, reconnect with their cultural heritage as part of its mission to preserve and promote traditional Tibetan performing arts, including Lhamo (Tibetan opera), regional dances, and musical traditions, inspired by the vision of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

This programme will offer an introduction to valuable Tibetan cultural traditions, performing arts, regional dances, musical instruments, and biographical performances. TIPA encourages local Tibetan Associations and weekend school teachers to spread the word and help young Tibetans seize this opportunity.
