Representative Mr. Tashi Phuntsok greets Her Excellency Hend Al Qtaiba, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates.

Paris: At the invitation of Her Excellency Hend Al Qtaiba, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, a delegation led by Representative Tashi Phuntsok, Office of Tibet Brussels, ParliamentarianThupten Gyatso, Secretary Namgyal Samdup, OOT Paris, Mr Karma Thinlay, the President of Tibetan Community and venerable Tenzin Penpa attended at inter-religious dialogue in the evening of 12th April 2022 representing Tibetan Community at Embassy of the United Arab Emirates.

The objective of the meeting was to bring together the heads of different religions on the same platform and to promote religious harmony. The key speaker at the meeting was Mr Éric de Rothschild, a French Banker representing the Jewish community, Mr Chems-Eddine, the Rector of the Great Mosque of Paris and Mr Xavier Gue, the Director of the Catholic Institute of Paris. The Speaker shared the importance of inter-religious dialogue and their institution’s initiative towards inter-religious dialogue, and religious harmony. The meeting was attended by representatives of different religions.

After an inter-religious dialogue event. The participants are invited to join the celebration of Ramadan-Iftar the fast-breaking dinner.

The Tibetan delegation thanked them for the invitation by offering Khatak to Her Excellency Hend Al Qtaiba and the Speaker of the inter-religious.
