Tibetan Delegation Participate in Inter-parliamentary Conference in Washington DC

Dharamshala: Two members of the Assembly of the Tibetan People’s Deputies participated in a Interparliamentary Conference on Human Rights and Religious Freedom in Washington, D.C. from 28 November to 1 December.
A four-day inter-parliamentary convention was organised by the Institute on Religion and Public Policy, Washington, D.C.
The Tibetan parliamentary delegation who participated in this convention were Geshey Thupten Phelgye and Dolmo Tsomo.
The convention focused on religion’s role in conflict resolution, preparing our children to be global actors, religious laws and terrorism, and internationial poverty and development
