Tibetan Chamber of Commerce Registered

Dharamshala: Tibetan Chamber of Commerce, the first association of Tibetan businessmen, has been registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 at the Registrar of Societies, Delhi, on 7 October 2005.
The Tibetan Chamber of Commerce was established by the Department of Finance of the Central Tibetan Administration during the first Tibetan business conference held in June this year.
The Tibetan Chamber of Commerce was started to enhance and promote the business interest of its members and Tibetan business community as a whole.
The Tibetan Chamber of Commerce has been registered under the name of ‘Welfare Society Tibetan Chamber of Commerce’..
Dorjee Wangdu Dewatshang, has been elected as the chairman of the Tibetan Chamber of commerce with Tsetan Norbu as the Vice chair by the founding members of the organisation.
Tibetan Chamber of Commerce functions independently of the Department of Finance
