Tibet supporters from Wardha sets for bike rally

[17 October,Wardha, Maharashtra]: National Campaign for
Tibetan Support, Wardha organized a bike rally to show their support
for the Tibet cause. More than 50 bikes with around 100 supporters
started their bike rally from Wardha to Nagpur, Maharashtra, which was
flagged off by Prof. Suresh Deshmukh, Member of Legislative Assembly of
Wardha constituency. The theme of the bike rally was “Free Tibet, Save
India”.
This bike rally was launched during Dashehra festival, coinciding with
54th Anniversary of Dr. Baba Sahib Ambedkar’s Dharmachakra day at
Dishabhumi, Nagpur. More than 15 lakh of Ambedkar‘s follower from all over India gathers and meet at Dishabhumi on Dashehra. It was celebrated for three days from 16-18 October.
The rally bikers were received by the President of Regional Tibetan
Youth Congress and Regional Tibetan Women’s Association, Tibetan
Norgeyling Settlement received with Khatak on reaching Nagpur. Later
the rally ended at Dishabhumi.
National Campaign for Tibetan Cause at Dishabhumi distributed thousands
of Tibet related leaflets in Marathi, HIndi and English. Regional
Tibetan Youth Congress and Regional Tibetan Women’s Association,
Norgeyling Settlement, Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society, Nagpur and
Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society Bandara joined National Campaign for
Tibetan Cause to distribute leaflets to the masses.
This is the third consecutive year of bike rally which, National
Campaign for Tibetan Cause, a Tibet Support Group in Wardha organized
over the years.
