TOKYO: The Tibet House Japan based in Tokyo will be organising an online Tibet Festival from 2-5 May (four days) as the Japanese celebrate the annual Golden Week festival this week.
The festival aims to celebrate the rich spiritual culture of Tibet and to inform and share the same with Japanese friends and supporters. We take this Golden-week holiday opportunity to thank the Japanese government, public and supporters and sponsors for their kind and continued interest and support for our cause.
Through this festival, we hope to bring the two communities closer, share each other`s rich culture and strengthen the spiritual and cultural bond. We also sincerely hope that the events will contribute in some way to dispel the gloom that the Coronavirus pandemic has enveloped us all since last year. There will be traditional songs and dance performances by noted Tibetan singers from Japan, US, Korea and Australia, and Tibetan foods.
