Thousands converge at Tsuglagkhang to hear His Holiness

Dharamshala: Thousands of devotees from across the globe have converged early this morning at Tsuglagkhang to hear His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s teachings on Nagarjuna’s Commentary on Boddhicitta (Jangchup semdrel) and Kamalashila’s Middle Stages of Meditation (gomrim barpa).
These includes over 70 devotees from Korea, along with 1000 people from different parts of the world and 1446 Tibetans.
The five-day teaching beginning here this morning is being conferred at the request of a group of Koreans.

In a brief address before the teaching, His Holiness the Dalai Lama underlined the importance of developing positive mind.
His Holiness also told the devotees to attend revision classes in the afternoons with qualified Buddhist scholars.
The teaching will continue until 5 October.
