Dharamshala: In the light of the distress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown imposition, the Tibetan settlements in exile under CTA’s Department of Home distributed food security to the distressed Tibetans.
The Chief Representative office of Sonamling Ladakh has distributed dry ration worth Rs.55000 to 22 distressed families in Jangthank area and Leh under their jurisdiction. Dry ration includes rice, white flour, dal, Tsampa, Milk, Salt and butter funded by the Dept of Home.
In Mundgod Tibetan settlement, the settlement office distributed dry ration worth Rs.39, 200 to 49 distressed families which are funded by the Dep. of Home.
The Tibetan Settlement Office of Tezu has distributed dry ration worth Rs.10, 269 to 9 distressed families in their Settlements.
The Tibetan Settlement Office of Kullu has distributed dry ration worth Rs.20, 380 to 16 distressed families in their Settlements.
The Tibetan Settlement Office of Kamrao has distributed dry ration worth Rs.10, 000 to 10 distressed families in their Settlements funded by the Department of home.
The Tibetan Settlement Office of Dolanji Bonshi has distributed dry ration worth Rs.12, 900 to 12 distressed families in their Settlements funded by the Dept of Home.
The Tibetan Settlement Office of Bir Botsok has distributed dry ration worth of Rs.12, 000 to 4 distressed families in their Settlements.
The Tibetan Settlement Office of Chauntra has distributed dry ration worth Rs.12, 000 to 8 distressed families in their Settlements.
The Tibetan Settlement Office of Tuting has distributed dry ration worth Rs.40, 000 to 25 distressed families in their Settlements. All the ration distributed were funded by the Department of Home.
