DHARAMSHALA, India: Tenzin Lhundup (LL.B), a Tibetan law graduate, has been appointed as the Local Tibetan Justice Commissioner for Northern India today. The former Local Tibetan Justice Commissioner for Northern India was Norpa Tsering Norbu.
Tenzin Lhundup (LL.B) completed his schooling from Tibetan Children’s Village, Upper Dharamsala. He graduated from Jiwaji University, Gwailor in 2004 with LL.B (hons). He did his post graduate diploma in human rights from Indian Institute of Human Rights, Delhi.
He worked as an intern for 6 months under Central Tibetan Administration’s advocate Mr J. M. Mukhi and registered for the Bar council of Delhi. Tenzin Lhundup (LL.B) has served the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission in various capacities from 18 August 2006 to 12 September 2011.
