Given the Covid surge in Indian subcontinent and the Tibetan community following the monsoon arrival, the committee member Kunsang stressed unceasing efforts in the sanitisation, vaccination, application of proper ventilation systems in one’s dwelling, and continuous adoption of mask-wearing to dodge the virus transmission. In addition, she insisted infected people with moderate and no symptoms to avoid engagement in public gatherings keeping others’ safety into consideration.
Apart from that, the usage of uncontaminated water is also advised by the Taskforce Committee member, given the rise in diseases like typhoid and dengue during monsoon, which have identical symptoms to that of Covid, while alerting Tibetan seasonal retail sellers to adhere to the Covid mandatories.
