Dharamshala: Kalon Tripa Prof
Samdhong Rinpoche is presiding over a three-day meeting of the Task
Force on Negotiations (TFN) which has begun Monday morning in
Dharamshala.
This is the seventeenth meeting of the TFN since its formation in 1999.

The members of the TFN attending the meeting are Kalon Tripa
Prof Samdhong Rinpoche, Kalon Tempa Tsering, representative of His
Holiness the Dalai Lama in New Delhi, Kalon Kesang Y Takla, kalon for
the Department of Information and International Relations, Kasur Tashi
Wangdi, Envoy Kelsang Gyaltsen, Thubten Samphel, secretary for
Information, Sonam Dagpo, secretary for International Relations, DIIR,
Tsewang Phuntsok and Bhuchung K Tsering.
Kasur Lodi Gyaltsen Gyari, Special Envoy of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, could not attend the meeting.
Mr Ngodup Donchung, kalon for the Department of Security, Mr
Chhime R. Chhoekyapa and Mr Tsegyam, secretaries to His Holiness the
Dalai Lama, Mr Tenzin Geyche Tethong, former secretary to His Holiness
are also present at the meeting.
The meeting will go on till Wednesday, 24 September.
The Task Force was established especially to assist the Envoys
of Tibetan delegation in the dialogue process with the Chinese
government.
