Bangalore: Sharing the ethos of democratic values and facing the challenges of falsehood and expansionism against truth and sovereignty, South India-based Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre headed by Director General Ben Wang along with Deputy Director Laurent Liu call upon Jigmey Tsultrim, CRO of the south zone Tibetan settlements on Monday morning at the former’s office.
CRO Tsultrim accompanied by Secretary Tenzin Tsepel, Secretary Ven. Geshe Jampa Gyaltsen and Ven. Geshe Jampa Topgyal representing Dzongkar Choede Monastery in Hunsur Rabgyaling presented Director General Wang with a statue of Buddha being consecrated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and a portrait of Buddha with His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
CRO briefed the existence of Tibetan Settlements in India – the conditions and aspirations of Tibetan people, the confidence of reunification of Tibetans inside and outside Tibet, and the Tibetan People’s unwavering faith in the spiritual leadership of His Holiness the Dalia Lama. CRO thanked the DG for having them invited to the esteemed office and allowing them to share common values and even hosting a lunch in their honour.
Meanwhile, CRO Tsultrim extended an invitation to the delegation which was received with gratitude by the latter who expressed admiration for the preservation of Tibetan identity in exile and offered prayers for the long and healthy life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
