DHARAMSHALA: Speaker Penpa Tsering of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile left Dharamshala today for an official visit to the United States. He will participate in the long life prayer ceremony (Tenshug) organised by the North American Tibetan Association in New York.

His engagements in the States include public talks in Seattle and Portland, and other official engagements in Los Angeles and Washington DC. He will also attend the 25th founding Anniversary of Tibetan Association of Northern California.

Speaker Penpa Tsering will be back in Dharamshala on 30 July.
