Bylakuppe: A Long-Life Prayer to the 105th Gaden Tripa, Jetsun Lobsang Dorjee Pal Sangpo, was held on 3 March 2025. The prayer was offered by the people of Markham at the Sera Mey Thoesam Norling Monastery in Bylakuppe.

The auspicious ceremony was graced by Kyabje Sharpa Choeje Rinpoche; Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile; Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration; along with former Kalons (Ministers); Khenpo and Khensur (current and former Abbots); Dangmo Kalden of Sakya; incumbent and former parliamentarians of the TPiE; Jigme Tsultrim, South Zone Chief Representative; TSO Gelek Jungney of Lugsam; and TSO Chemi Dorjee of Dekyi Larso, among many members of the general public.

In the afternoon, the Speaker visited a Dungchoe (prayer gathering) held at Drekung Kagyu monastery for the late Ayang Tulku Rinpoche, former parliamentarian of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, to offer his condolences.
