Speaker Karma Chophel visits Italy

Dharamshala: The speaker of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile is on a ten-day visit to Italy.
The visit is being organised by Tibet Culture House, in collaboration with the Municipality of Cologno Monzese (Milano).
In Rome today, Mr Karma Chophel is expected to meet with the Inter-Parliament Group for Tibet, Foreign Commission of Senate.
On 17 May, in Cologno Monzese (MI), he will meet with members of Tibet Support Group, along with attending a conference in the evening.
Mr Chophel will visit Turin to meet, on 18 May, the president of Piemonte and Regional Council, Association of Cities, Provinces and Regions for Tibet.
In Trento-Bolzano, on 22 May, he will call upon the institutions of Autonomic Region of Trentino Alto Adige, Autonomic Province of Trento, and Autonomic Province of Bolzano.
