DHARAMSHALA: Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel and Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile called upon Shri Shanta Kumar, former chief minister of Himachal Pradesh and a current member of the Indian Parliament on Monday, 20 June. Shri Shanta Kumar is the convener of the  All Party Indian Parliamentary Forum for Tibet.

The Speaker and Deputy Speaker expressed their gratitude for the Indian Parliamentary Forum’s wholehearted support to the Tibet issue and also requested their continued support and assistance. They further urged the veteran Indian politician to organise activities and discussions to highlight the Tibet issue among the Indian public.
