
12th Intensive Course on Tibetan Language and Buddhist Studies 2025.
Dharamshala: The Department of Religion and Culture (DoRC) of the Central Tibetan Administration invites applications from college graduated Tibetan students and Tibetan youths engaging in various walks of life to take part in the 12th Six Months Intensive Course on Tibetan Language and Buddhist Philosophy. This program is organised by DoRC in collaboration with the School of Snowland Tibetan Studies, Gyudmed Monastery, based in Hunsur. Interested applicants can send the application form and required documents through email by 13 June 2025.

Six Months Intensive Course on Tibetan Language and Buddhist Philosophy 2025
- Required Documents:
- Copy of degree certificate or Mark Sheet
- Updated copy of Tibetan green book
- Latest Passport size photo
Please note: All above copies must be attested either by a CTA officer (Joint Secretary and above) / Tibetan Settlement Officer or College principal.
Facilities:
- Travel and Daily Allowance (TA/DA)
- Accommodation and food
- Monthly pocket money
Course Duration:
- Six Months (1 July to 31 December 2025)
Program details:
- Tibetan language and literature, Buddhist philosophy, dialectics and Meditation
- Educational trip to Mysore and Bylakuppe Tibetan settlement
- Oral and written test will be conducted after the course
- Diploma certificate will be issued upon clearing the exam
