DHARAMSHALA: Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay will visit northeastern India from 25 January – 6 February as part of his efforts to meet Tibetans living in the settlements across the country.
The Sikyong will meet Tibetans living in settlements and clustered communities in Tawang, Dirang, Bomdila, Tenzingang, Tuting, Tezu and Miao in Arunachal Pradesh and Shillong in Meghalaya from 26 January-4 February.
On 1 February, he will receive Tibetan leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama who will be inaugurating the Tibet Festival to be held in Guwahati from 2-6 February.
The Sikyong will deliver lectures at Martin Luther Christian University in Shillong and National Law University & Academy in Guwahati on 4 and 5 February respectively. He will also grace the closing ceremony of Tibet Festival.
The Sikyong will return to Dharamsala on 8 February.
