Bylakuppe: On the morning of 3 March 2025, Sikyong Penpa Tsering attended the Long-Life Offering Ceremony for the 105th Gaden Tripa, Jetsun Lobsang Dorjee Pal Sangpo, by the people of Markham at Sera Mey Thoesam Norling Monastery in Bylakuppe.

The event was graced by the presence of the Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Ven. Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, along with parliamentarians Ven. Lopon Thupten Gyaltsen, Ngodup Dorjee, Kunchok Yangphel and Choephel Thupten. Former parliamentarians Samten Choedon and Pema Delek were also in attendance. Dagmo Kalden Dunkyi was also among the distinguished guests at the ceremony.

Additionally, the event saw the participation of Jigmey Tsultrim, Chief Representative Officer (CRO) of the South Zone, along with Settlement Officers Gelek Jungney (Lugsam Samdupling, Bylakuppe Old Settlement) and Chime Dorjee (Dickey Larsoe, Bylakuppe New Settlement).

The ceremony was also attended by local Tibetan leaders, representatives of monastic institutions and senior monastery administrators, with respect held for the spiritual authority of the Gaden Tripa.

Following the conclusion of the Long-life Offering Ceremony, Sikyong Penpa Tsering departed for Chandigarh en route to Bengalore.
