Dharamshala: Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay today left for a 24-day official visit to the US where a series of meetings and speaking engagements are lined up. He will make a one-day halt in Delhi to meet Indian dignitaries before flying to US.

With the Tibet Policy and Support bill as the main agenda of his visit, Sikyong will meet members of the US Congress and other important officials to push for the swift passage of the bill in the senate. He will also conduct a series of speaking engagements organized by the Office of Tibet, DC.

Sikyong is scheduled to return to Dharamshala on 9 December.
