
Dharamshala: On 5 January 2025, Kalon (Minister) Dolma Gyari of the Department of Security (DoS), Central Tibetan Administration, accompanied by DoS’s staff member Dawa Dolma arrived at Munich Airport. They were warmly welcomed by Tenzin Choesang from the Office of Tibet along with Namgyal Sakang, President of the Tibetan Association in Munich, former presidents and members of the association, and representatives from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) including Nurpur Hasija and Frank Hoffmann. The representatives from FNF were pivotal in organising this official visit.
Following her arrival in Munich, Kalon Dolma Gyari met with Martin Hagen, a member of the German Free Democratic Party (FDP) and parliamentarian, at the Maritim Hotel. The meeting marked the establishment of a new connection.
Later in the afternoon, Kalon Dolma Gyari travelled to Stuttgart, where she met with Renata Alt, another parliamentarian from the FDP. Renata Alt, who serves as the Head of the Human Rights Division within the Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Parliament, welcomed the Kalon, and their discussion successfully initiated another significant relationship.
