Dharamshala: On 25 April 2026, approximately 120 monks from the Dzongkar Choede Gaden Phelgyeling Monastery offered a Long-life prayers to His Holiness the Dalai Lama at his residence in Dharamshala.

Secretary Dundul Dorjee of the Department of Religion and Culture (CTA) attended the event as an invited guest.

During the ceremony, a new book titled The Great Explanation of the Initiation of the Thirteen-Deity Yamari was officially launched and presented to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The book is a comprehensive transcription of the two-day teaching on the Thirteen-Deity Black Yamari (Dranak) originally conferred by His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Dzongkar Choede Monastery in 2013. It was transcribed and compiled from audio recordings by Thupten Ngawang, a monk of the monastery.
