Representative Telo Tulku Rinpoche of the Office of Tibet in Mongolia, Russia and CIS countries completed a four- city tour across Mongolia organised by “Diluv Hutught Foundation” (DHF) and Moscow based “Tibet Culture & Information Center” (Office of Tibet). The purpose of the tour was to raise awareness of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s life in Tibet before 1959 and in exile as well as the impact His Holiness had made on a global stage.
Along with the Photo exhibition, films were screened in every city on the life of H.H. the Dalai Lama. Documentary film “Sunrise/Sunset” by Russian Documentary maker Vitaly Manski, “Mission Joy; Finding Happiness in Troubled Times’ Directed by Peggy Callahan and Louie Psihoyos, and “Dalai Lama, Scientist” Directed by Dawn Gifford Engle.
Besides the photo exhibition and film screening, the book in Mongolia Language “Beyond Religion” which was published and released in Mongolia by DHF was launched in the provinces towns. The cities visited bay Telo Tulku Rinpoche were Bayanhongor, Gobi Altai, Ulastai, and Moruun. All the event was well accepted by the public and requested that more events be organised int he Future.
During the opening remarks in each town, Telo Tulku Rinpoche spoke on His Holiness’s vision for oneness of humanity as described in His Holiness’ book ‘Beyond Religon’ in which His Holiness has reiterated importance of cultivating warm heartedness without the touching upon any religious beliefs.
During the stops in the main cities of the four main provinces, Repreentative Telo Tulku Rinopche met with local officials, scholars and public the to share his views on similarities of the Tibetan and Mongolian Culture and the importance of strengthening the ties in the field of education, political, economical and cultural as well. This visit was
successfully completed between 7 -17 September.
