
NORWICH: At the invitation of Otis library Director, Norwich, Representative Ngodup Tsering gave a presentation on Genesis, Structure and operation of Central Tibetan Administration in general and Office of Tibet, North America, in particular, on 15th June, 2018 at the Library conference hall.
Representative also, talked about the grim political situation in Tibet and the Middle Way Approach as proposed by His Holiness and CTA.
It was attended by state Senators and Legislators, Mayor and number of council members, and concerned members in the Library. After an hourlong presentation, State Representatives and council members stood in turn to say, how much they learnt about Tibet and Tibetan struggle and expressed their support.
Mayor was urged to adopt resolutions on 10th March as Tibetan Rights Day and raise Tibetan National flag in front of City hall. He agreed to work for it.
The talk was arranged by the Otis Library in coordination with Tibetan Association, Connecticut. Representative thanked Mr Bassem , Director Multicultural service for arranging the successful event. Representative offered white scarves ( Khatag) to local and state political leaders as an appreciation to their support.
