Dharamshala: The Public Service Commission (PSC) of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) began its induction training for newly recruited civil servants from 4 to 23 November at the Administrative Training and Welfare Society.
The inaugural ceremony of this three-week training program was presided over by Karma Yeshi, Chairman of the Public Service Commission, accompanied by Tenzin Legdup, Secretary of the Public Service Commission.
Secretary Tenzin Legdup introduced the training course and the facilitators to the participants. He encouraged them to engage actively, discuss, and seek clarification on any doubts during the sessions. He also provided an overview of the rules and regulations governing the training.
In his concluding remarks, Karma Yeshi encouraged the recruits to remain motivated and committed to long-term service with the CTA, drawing inspiration from the tireless efforts of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and previous generations of Tibetan civil servants.
A total of 33 recruits participated in the training, which the USAID and NDI funded. Over the course of the program, participants will receive instruction in various areas, including Tibetan language, Tibetan history, official letter writing, CTA administration, e-governance, the Exile Tibetan Constitution, the Middle Way Approach, secular ethics, soft skills, and inner engineering.
