
Dharamshala: The Public Service Commission of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) commenced its induction Training for newly recruited staff on 4 August 2025 at the Administrative Training Welfare Society in Dharamshala. The training is scheduled to run for 20 days and will conclude on 23 August 2025.
The inaugural ceremony of this three-week training program was presided over by Public Service Commissioner Karma Yeshi and Secretary Tenzin Legdup.
Secretary Tenzin Legdup introduced the participants with the guidelines associated with the training and reminded them to adhere the set rules and protocols concerning the workshop.
In his address, Public Service Commissioner Karma Yeshi shared about the workshop’ importance in up-skilling their overall practical knowledge in the execution of administrative task. He further emphasised the trainee staff to find innovative measures while carrying out their job and to bring about exceptional performances in their work to further enhance the CTA’s overall structure. He also encouraged everyone to comprehend themselves with the CTA’s rule books and work diligently within its framework.
He encouraged the recruits to remain motivated and committed to long-term service with the CTA, taking inspiration from the tireless efforts of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and previous generations of Tibetan civil servants.
A total of 23 recruits participated in the training. The participants will receive instruction in various areas, including Tibetan language, Tibetan history, official letter writing, CTA administration, e-governance, the Exile Tibetan Charter, the Middle Way Approach, secular ethics, soft skills, and inner engineering.
