Project Management Workshop Concludes
Dharamsala, 2 April 2003: A three-day workshop on Projects and Project Management organized by the Planning Council of the Central Tibetan Administration concluded successfully today. 25 project officers from different departments of the Administration took part in the workshop.
The workshop was conducted by Prof. G Krishnamurthi and Prof. Rakesh Saxena of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (Gujarat). The valuable insights of the participants also contributed to the success of the workshop.
The Chief Planning officer, Dr Kunchok Tsundue expressed gratitude to the experts from the Institute of Rural Management for showing interest and sharing their valuable knowledge with the Tibetans. He said, “We hope through such workshops we could exchange and transfer knowledge and experience with each other and more importantly build a strong institutional linkage.” Prof. Krishnamurthi assured the participants of working to get that dream realized. He expressed his appreciation to the organizers and thanked them for giving him the opportunity to understand the situation of Tibetans in exile.
This was the second such workshop organised by the Planning Council.
