
POKHARA: As directed by the Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamshala, a collaborative earthquake relief committee comprising of the local settlement officer and members of local Tibetan assembly, Tibetan freedom movement, and all the local NGO has been formed under the name of Tashi Palkhiel Tibetan Settlement in Pokhara, Nepal.
The committee visited affected areas and distributed relief materials such as rice, dal, mattresses, tents, salt, oil, tea, sugar, biscuits and medical stuffs to three Village of Lamchung district, Pachok Gavisa (Waksora, Gorigaun and Kalimati Village) which has a total population of 250 Nepali people.
A mass prayer service was also held on 1 May at Tashi Palkhiel Settlement Community Hall.
