Dear readers,
For the past few months, I have been writing about Lhakar celebration in exile. I have seen variations of Lhakar celebration from younger to the older generation that rings a singular tone of the oneness of being a Tibetan. From a toddler to an older generation, the pictures below emulates the Tibetan identity that older generation of Tibetan diaspora has long preserved in exile, a responsibility that would fall upon the younger generation. Today I thought to give you a glimpse of our proudness being Tibetan symbolising on the special day of Lhakar, which is a soul day of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. I have started a series on Tibetan’s Life in Exile which encompasses Lhakar celebration. The spirit of Tibetan will never diminish to preserve our rich culture and tradition. Starting from toddler to the oldest contribute to the survival of Tibetan identity. Please enjoy photo story for this week Lhakar series.
