
Fausto Godoy, retired diplomat and current professor of Asian studies, along with Representative Jigme Tsering at the talk on Tibetan arts and culture to students.
At the request of Fausto Godoy, Representative Jigme Tsering delivered a talk to a group of fifteen students on Tibetan culture and the activities of Tibet House. Fausto Godoy is a retired diplomat currently serving as a professor of Asian studies and coordinator of the Center for Asian Civilizations at the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM). Representative Jigme Tsering also presented a Tibetan scarf and a book “The Open Road: The Global Journey of the Fourteenth Dalai Lama” by Pico Iyer to Fausto Godoy.
Representative Jigme Tsering accompanied by Dr Shelly Bhoil and thangka artist Mr Ngawang Loday gave a brief introduction to Tibetan arts and culture and explained the objectives and programs of Tibet House. The program concluded with a brief question and answer session and a serving of refreshments.
