Dehradun: The Ngoenga School for Tibetan Children with Special Needs celebrated its 26th founding anniversary on 8 March 2026. The programme opened with a keynote address by the School Director, Tashi Kunzom, who highlighted the school’s history, which began in 2000 through the vision and support of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

The Director extended her heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Health (CTA) and its sponsors for their continuous assistance in enabling the school to pursue its mission. The celebration featured a series of fun activities and performances by the children, which continued throughout the occasion.
