Dharamshala: The Standing Committee of the Tibetan Parliament in exile and the parliamentary secretariat have welcomed the promotion of parliamentary secretary Mr Phurbu Tsering to Secretary General, the Secretariat said in a statement issued this afternoon.Mr Phurbu Tsering will take charge as Secretary General of the Parliamentary Secretariat w.e.f. 1st June 2010. He is a very senior officer. Since joining the Central Tibetan Administrative service in 1973, he has served in various capacities in different Departments such as Home, Health, Security and in the Office of Election Commission, the statement noted.
