Ravangla: Member of 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Migyur Dorjee visited Kunpheling Tibetan Settlement in Ravangla from 26 to 28 October.
Parliamentarian Migyur Dorjee was warmly greeted by Settlement Officer Dorjee Tsering, members of Ravangla Local Tibetan Assembly, staff of the Settlement Office, heads of Tibetan monasteries in the region and local Tibetan representatives on Saturday, 26 October.
Later in the day, MP Migyur visited the Settlement Office and other Tibetan offices in the settlement. He also visited Lilung (གླི་ལུང་) Monastery.
Next day, he paid a series of visits to Buddhist monasteries, Sambhota Days School and Mentsee Khang.
Parliamentarian Migyur Dorjee concluded his visit on the third day after presiding a meeting with the Settlement Officer, local Tibetan representatives and a meeting with the local Tibetan community during which he heard the grievances of the people and assured full support.
