Ravangla, Sikkim: The Minister for Tourism & Civil Aviation and Commerce & Industries, Sikkim, Shri Bedu Singh Panth visited Ravangla on Tuesday to mark the grand celebration of the 36th Pang Lhabsol, Sikkim’s most important indigenous festival.
Tibetan Settlement Officer Tenzin Nordhen, Ravangla who participated in the event as a guest, greeted the Honourable Minister with a traditional Tibetan scarf and extended heartfelt greetings and gratitude on behalf of the Central Tibetan Administration.
Members of the Ravangla Tibetan settlement presented cultural performances.
‘Pang Lhabsol’ is marked every year by the Sikkim Government in the Ravangla region from 3 to 10 September. The Chief Minister of the state is expected to attend the closing ceremony on 10 September.
