A long-life offering to His Holiness the Dalai Lama

Dharamshala: On the margins of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s teachings on the Guhyasamaja, the monastic colleges of Gyudtod and Gyudmed, in collaboration with Chushi-Gang-Druk, presented a long-life offering to His Holiness this morning.

The ceremony organized this morning at the conclusion of the two-week-long religious teachings here at the Tsuglakhang was presided over by Jangtse Chosje Rinpoche.

Present at the ceremony were Sakya Gongma Rinpoche, Gyalwa Karmapa Rinpoche and Shertse Chosje Rinpoche, in addition to 50 other lamas and a battery of dignitaries from the Central Tibetan Administration.

In a brief address during the ceremony, His Holiness the Dalai Lama lauded the pure bond of commitment that continues to bind the spiritual guru with his devotees.

Thousands of devotees, including Tibetans and non-Tibetans from across the globe have been attending the religious teaching that His Holiness has conferred upon request from Sakya Gongma Rinpoche, Gyalwa Karmapa Rinpoche and Drikung Kyabgon Rinpoche.
