Kamrao: The official handover ceremony between outgoing Settlement Officer Ugyen Choedon and incoming Settlement Officer Tenzin Samten held at Kamrao Tibetan Settlement Office on 2 December 2025.

The ceremony commenced at 10:00 a.m. under the supervision of Gelek Jamyang, Settlement Officer of Poanta Cholsum, who served as the handover witness representing the Department of Home, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA). During the ceremony, a comprehensive transfer of office inventory and official documents were carried out during the proceedings.

The event was attended by key local officials, including Tseten Bhuti, former Tibetan Parliament in Exile (TPiE) cum President of Kamrao Gapa Tibetan Welfare Society and staff members of Primary Healthcare Centers.

In keeping with tradition, both the outgoing and incoming Tibetan Settlement Officers (TSOs) were presented with ceremonial scarves (khatas).
