DHARAMSHALA: Newly elected members of the 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile will be sworn-in on Monday, 30 May 2016. The new members of the Tibetan Parliament will take their oath of office from the interim Speaker of the Tibetan parliament.
The new Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 16th Tibetan Parliament will be sworn-in at 09:30 am on 31 May 2016 at Songtsen hall, Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission. The oath of office for the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 16th Tibetan Parliament will be administered by Mr Kargyu Dhondup, the Chief Justice Commissioner of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission.
The new Kalons of the 15th Kashag will be sworn-in at 03:30 pm on 1 June 2016. Mr Kargyu Dhondup, the Chief Justice Commissioner of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commissioner will administer the oath of office.
