Kalon Tripa to leave for official visit today

Dharamshala: Kalon Tripa Samdhong Rinpoche will leave Dharamshala today for an official visit to Dehradun, Mussorie and the United Kingdom.
From 2 to 3 December, Kalon Tripa will visit the Bija Vidjapeeth, the Navdanya (nine seed) center in Dehradun. He will also attend a workshop organised by Bija Vidyapeeth and deliver a key-note address on Gandhi and Globalisation.
He will address at a workshop on “How to Lead a Happy and Meaningful Life”, organised by the Society for Integrated Development of Himalaya form 4 to 6 December in Mussorie.
During his 4-day visit to London from 8 to 11 December, Kalon Tripa will attend the “Round Table Global Tolerance Dialogue”. Many distinguished participants including scholars, media persons are also expected to participate in the conference.
He will address a function on 18th anniversary of conferment of the Nobel Peace Prize to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Besides holding meetings with parliament members of UK all parliamentary party for Tibet, he will also meet various members of Tibet Support Groups and interact with press. He will meet and address Tibetan community based in UK.
Kalon Tripa will return to Dharamshala on 13 December.
