Kalon Tripa to Leave for Official Visit

Dharamshala: Kalon Tripa Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche will leave for an official tour to Dehra Dun, Delhi and Chandigarh from 28 of this month to 3 May 2006.

In Dehra Dun, Kalon Tripa give a talk to the students of the Bija Vidyapeeth, traditional organic farming institute, on organic farming. Bija Vidyapeeth offers opportunity to explore and practice the science of organic farming based on principles of sustainability and pollution free farming.

Kalon Tripa will partake in the board meeting of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Charitable Trust in Delhi on 1 May 2006.

In Chandigarh, Kalon Tripa will participate in a panel discussion on Mahatma Gandhi’s book Hind Swaraj. This discussion on the principles and ideas of Gandhi ji is organised by the Servants of the People Society in Chandigarh.
