Kalon Tripa to join His Holiness the Dalai Lama during visit to Switzerland Wednesday, 29 July 2009, 12:14 p.m.

Tripa Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche will leave Dharamsala on Saturday ( 1
August) for a six-day visit to Switzerland from 4 – 9 August, Kashag
Secretariat said. On 4 August, Kalon Tripa will address the
Tibetan people living in European countries following a teaching by His
Holiness the Dalai Lama at Lausanne organised by the Tibetan community
of Switzerland. Kalon Tripa will be the master of ceremony during a
long life prayer ceremony organised by the Tibetan community for the
long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama on 6 August. Kalon
Tripa will attend the three-day “International Sino-Tibetan Conference”
scheduled 6-8 August in Geneva. There will be keynote addresses by His
Holiness the Dalai Lama and Kalon Tripa at the inaugural ceremony.
On 9 July, Kalon Tripa will address at a discussion cum workshop
organised by the members of Newsletter of Tibetan Community of
Switzerland.   Kalon Tripa will return here on 12 August.
