Dharamshala: On 11 March 2026, Kalon (Minister) Norzin Dolma of the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), CTA, met with a high-level delegation from the Czech Republic. The delegation included Honourable Senator Jiří Oberfalzer, Vice President of the Czech Senate; Honourable Jiří Dušek, Vice-Chairman of the Senate Committee on EU Affairs; interpreter Sylvie Ginterova; and Andrea Svobodova.

Kalon Norzin Dolma was accompanied by DIIR Additional Secretary Namgyal Tsewang.

During the hour-long interaction, discussions covered a wide range of topics, including the CTA’s ongoing efforts to garner political support, the current situation inside Tibet, and future initiatives to strengthen relations between the Czech Republic and Tibet. This included plans to organise Tibet-related programmes to further promote the Tibetan cause.

The high-level delegation was accompanied by DIIR Protocol Officer Tenzin Choeyang.
