
Kalon Norzin dolma of the Department of Information and International Relations addressing the visiting delegation of the Members of the European Parliament at DIIR.
Dharamshala: Kalon Norzin Dolma of the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), CTA received the visiting delegation of the European Parliament yesterday at the department. The four-member delegation led by MEP Mikuláš Peksa comprised of MEP Salima Yenbo, MEP Hannes Heide, and MEP Aušra Maldeikienė are visiting Dharamshala to participate in the commemoration of Tibetan National Uprising Day tomorrow. The delegation also consisted of Parliamentary Assistants- Samuel Vančo, Tomas Adamec, Martina Tesseri and Eduard Aleix Sarri Camargo. The delegation visit this time is organised by the Office of Tibet in Brussels headed by Representative Rigzin C. Genkhang.
During their meeting with the Kalon, the visiting delegates were apprised of the CTA’s firm position in resolving the long-standing Sino-Tibet conflict fundamentally through the Middle Way Approach. In addition, Kalon briefed the delegation about the priorities and concerns of the CTA including the prevailing concerns inside Tibet.
The meet was also attended by Secretary Karma Choeying of DIIR, Representative Genkhang and Additional Secretary Tenzin Lekshay.
