Washington, DC: Kalon Karma Yeshi, Department of Finance, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) was the chief guest at the 15th North American Tibetan Association (NATA) conference in Boulder, Colorado. He was on tour since 10 November 2016 throughout United States (U.S). After the conclusion of the NATA conference, Kalon along with staff, Dechen Tsomo and Yundung Lhamo from Office of Tibet (OOT) visited twelve Tibetan communities starting from Boulder, Salt Lake City, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Madison, Minneapolis, Boston, Connecticut, New York & New Jersey Community then Washington, DC and on final legs they visited Philadelphia. He was accompanied by OOT staff Tenzin Dechen on the final leg of tour.
Throughout his community visits, Kalon Karma Yeshi repeatedly reiterated his core points of importance of not forgetting to have deep gratitude and appreciation towards His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s constant leadership and continued guidance for the past sixty years and also remembering those elders who have tirelessly dedicated the struggle and laying the foundation of Central Tibetan Administration.
