
Kalon Dolma Gyari Meets Station House Office of McLeod Ganj to Address the Issues Faced by Tibetans in Dharamshala.
Dharamshala: Kalon (Minister) Dolma Gyari of the Department of Security, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), met with Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Surendar Thakur of McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala, today to discuss issues and challenges faced by Tibetan residents in the region.
During the meeting, Kalon Dolma Gyari raised concerns regarding the safety of the Tibetan community and emphasised the need for strengthened cooperation between local law enforcement and the Tibetan administration.
The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between local authorities and the Tibetan administration to ensure a secure and peaceful environment for Tibetan residents.
The SHO, Surendar Thakur, assured full support in addressing the concerns raised and emphasised the importance of upholding law and order in the area. Both parties agreed to work in close coordination to resolve any challenges affecting the Tibetan community.
This engagement reflects the Central Tibetan Administration’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of Tibetans in exile while fostering positive relations with local law authorities.
