ITCO, Core Group for Tibetan Cause chalks out future plan of actions to strengthen TSG movement in India.
Delhi: The Core Groups of Tibet Cause–India has played a vital role in Tibet’s struggle for freedom throughout its inception in the year 2002. The Core group of Tibetan cause was formalized in close coordination with the various Tibet Support Groups in India through India Tibet Coordination Office.
Many programs and Conference were held to garner support for Tibet’s freedom struggle and to enlighten its neighbouring countries about the situation of Tibet and to inform about the issue of Tibet.
Coordinator Mr Jigmey Tsultrim on Friday called upon a meeting of the members of Core Group of Tibetan cause on four important matters:
- Discussion & action taken of the last Core Group Meeting held on 25th December 2019 at Kolkatta
- Discussion on matter raised during the internal discussion upon Strategizing & Programs with India TSGs on 8th August 2020
- Discussion and strategizing on the activities of TSGs during the pandemic
- Discussion and planning on strengthening the activities of the TSGs movement in India for the coming years
National Convener Core Groups of Tibet Cause–India Mr R K Khrimey in his opening remarks welcomed the Core group participants and observed a minutes silence to remember the martyrs of Galwan border and the late members of Tibet Support Groups for their altruistic contribution for Tibet cause.
ITCO-Coordinator Mr Tsultrim explained members on 22 Webinars which were held on Tibet Cause in recent times and comprehend the meeting agenda, decision and suggestion taken during the last year December meeting at Kolkata.
The Core Group members have explained on programs which they have carried out so far and explained on the future programs upon Tibet cause.
