Indian media delegation to visit Dharamshala

Dharamshala: A media delegation including 12 journalists of regional Indian daily newspapers from across India is visiting Dharamshala from 28 to 30 September.
The visit is organized by the New-Delhi based India Tibetan Coordination Office (ITCO), as a part of its annual media visit to Dharamshala.
During their three-day visit, the delegates will meet Kalon Tripa Samdhong Rinpoche.
Mr Karma Chophel, Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile (TPiE) will brief the delegates. They will also attend the proceedings of the 4th session of the TPiE.
The Secretary for International Relations, Central Tibetan Administration Mr Sonam Dagpo, will brief the delegates on the Tibet issue. Later they will meet Information Secretary Mr Thubten Samphel.
The delegation will visit Tibetan Reception Centre and Tibetan Childrens’ Village School.
They are scheduled to interact with the Dharamshala-based Indian and Tibetan media.
