Delhi: In tribute to all the Tibet Support Group members and friends who lost their lives to Covid-19, the India Tibet Friendship Society (ITFS) organised a virtual Shradhanjali Sabha on Monday remembering their noble life and contributions to the Tibetan cause.
The ardent friends and supporters lost to Covid-19 include Shri Sunderlal Bahuguna, Dr. Dauji Gupta, Dr. P.G. Jyotikar, Prof. Bhau Lokhande, Shri Harish Adyalkar, Prof. Vimalkriti, Shri Naresh Mathur, Shri J. M. Mukhi, Shri Raghuvansh Prasad Singh and Swami Agnivesh.
The virtual Shradhanjali Sabha was graced by Dr. Anand Kumar, General Secretary, India-Tibet Friendship Society. Remembering the late souls, Dr. Anand Kumar offered his Shradhanjali and shared their association and contribution towards the Tibetan freedom movement.
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Organizing Secretary, India-Tibet Friendship Society, specifically spoke about the noble life of the late friends and offered his prayers and respect. Likewise, the members also offered their Shradhanjali to the late souls, including Shri Sachin Ramteke, Shri Brijesh Kumar, Smt. Uma Ghosh, Smt. Resham Bala and Shri Sandeep Jyotikar.
Mr. Jigmey Tsultrim, Coordinator, India Tibet Coordination Office (ITCO) – Delhi, offering his deepest prayers and respect for the late Tibet Supporters, expressed his fortune and blessings for the experience of meeting them. “The late soul’s contributions in their respective fields were immense, and it was even greater of them to contribute to the Tibetan freedom movement.”
During the Shradhanjali Sabha, the members discussed the India-Tibet Friendship Society’s journey so far and further responsibility towards Tibbat Mukti Sadhana, a legacy left by the late members.
The virtual Shradhanjali Sabha was attended by the Members of India Tibet Friendship Society, Tibet Supporters and ITCO staff.
