Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay offer Mendel Tensum for the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama after the Tsetor ceremony at Tsuglagkhang in the early morning of the first day of Tibetan New Year, 19 February 2015/DIIR Photo. Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay greeted Tibetans inside and outside Tibet on the Wood-Sheep New Year. Sikyong called on Tibetans to observe the cultural and religious traditions during the New Year celebrations and to remember all those Tibetans who have sacrificed their lives for the cause of Tibet. He also called on Tibetans to follow the guidance of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and enhance the collective merit of the Tibetan people for the long life of His Holiness as he turns 80 this year.
