Glimpses of Tibetan national uprising day commemorated across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Scotland, England, Lithuania, Latvia & Republic of Ireland, as filed by Office of Tibet, London.
Tibetan Community in Sweden, along with supporters, going on a march in the streets of capital city Stockholm as part of the commemorative events to mark the 60th Anniversary of Tibetan National Uprising of 1959 in Lhasa, Tibet.

Activists, wearing yellow T-shirts and carrying Tibetan flags, swooped down on the lawns outside the heavily-secured embassy and chanted slogans against China.

Tibetans and supporters in Copenhagen, Denmark marched on to show China that ‘we cannot respect a China that does not respect human rights’, to protest against China’s illegal occupation of Tibet, and to mark the 60th Anniversary of the great rebellion in Lhasa, Tibet.

Tibet supporters in Lithuania commemorated the 60th anniversary of Tibetan National Uprising of 1959 by holding a vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy in Vilnius on 8th March 2019. Tibetans from the North of England including from Edinburgh marching through the historic Royal Mile on 10th March 2019 to highlight 60 years of Tibetans in exile following the brutal crushing of the Tibetan National Uprising against the Chinese rule in 1959 in Lhasa, Tibet.
